According to the Circular no. 1795 of 15 Feb 2019 from Turkey’s Environment and Urban Ministry, General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Department of Foreign Affairs, a valuation report will be required when transferring a title deed of a property to or from a foreigner.

The new rule was made applicable as of 4th of March 2019.

Turkish citizenship rights to foreigners who acquire 250.000 USD of residential property in Turkey!

The financial and investment criteria that foreigners have to meet to obtain Turkish citizenship have been reduced.

Some regulations related to foreigners' acquisition of Turkish citizenship have been changed . To qualify for the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey prescribed amount of fixed capital is lowered from $ 2.000.000 to $ 500.000. The minimum amount for acquisition of real estate in Turkey required for foreigners to acquire Turkish citizenship is also reduced from 1.000.000 USD to 250.000 USD.
